A BLACKBURN restaurant is serving up a culinary treat for its customers after buying a 45kg halibut.
The huge fish was bought by The Seafood Pub Company which owns the Oyster & Otter in Livesey Branch Road, Feniscowles.

The fish, which is worth up to £1,000, was picked up in Shetland and is being roasted for restaurant-goers until stocks have run out.
Executive chef Anthony Shirley said that the fish would create 115 servings.
The Seafood Pub Company managing director Joycelyn Neve said: “It’s really exciting for everybody here and it seems to going down really well as well.
“We always try and have the best quality fish here and a halibut from Shetland is certainly that.
“It’s a boost for the restaurant and it’s great for everyone involved.”
