THERE have been major delays on the M6 this morning after an accident between junctions 32 and 31.
Police said a 4x4 vehicle and a trailer overturned on the southbound carriageway shortly before 7.25am, between Broughton and Preston East.

Three lanes were closed after the crash, but at least one lane has now reopened.
The Highways Agency said normal traffic conditions are expected to return by 10.30am.
There were not thought to be any injuries.
