The defendant, 27, admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis, between last November 22 and December 3.
He will not face a proceeds of crime hearing.
Joseph Allman, prosecuting, said last November 26, police executed a warrant at the defendant’s home on Leyland Road.
Ten snap bags of cannabis were found, as well as digital scales with traces of drugs, a dealer’s ‘tick list’ and a phone, which transpired to have text messages indicating cannabis dealing.
The defendant wasn’t arrested at that stage.
Last December 2, he attended Burnley Police Station with his solicitor and was arrested.
On the same date, officers carried out a second search at another address by then associated with the defendant, on Hunslet Street.
They found two more snap bags of cannabis, some empty snap bags, a further drug dealer’s tick list and a second phone with more texts indicating supplying.
Mr Allman said the value of the cannabis seized was £100.
The prosecutor said Kelly had 27 offences on his record.
