A DODGY roofer who has struck for a second time is facing jail after claiming two more victims.
James McCool, 32, was aggressive to one customer, insisting she paid in cash, threatening to damage her roof and calling at a late hour, demanding payment. McCool didn't tell two customers, who had had sub-standard work done, about their right to cancel contracts, Burnley Crown Court heard.
The hearing was told McCool, who has previous convictions for 'similar offending', left one of the women upset by his actions.
The defendant, a convicted robber and burglar, who has served jail terms, could end up back behind bars after his latest law breaking. He was banned from driving for with excess alcohol last week.
McCool, of Glenfield Road, Nelson, admitted two counts of engaging as a trader in an unfair commercial practice which was a misleading omission, in December 2012 and April last year. He also pleaded guilty to engaging as a trader in a commercial practice which was aggressive, between April and May, last year.
