A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been sent to Preston Crown Court charged with an assault on another man who suffered a double fracture of his jaw.
The court was told the victim Michael Boyle needed four plates inserted in his jaw secured by 16 screws.

Neil James Heap, of Devon Road, Blackburn, indicated a not guilty plea to inflicting grievous bodily harm. He was remanded on bail to appear at the Crown Court on January 12.
