THIS is not something you see every day!
Super dogs in capes descending on Blackburn’s Witton Park.
But yesterday scores of four legged friends and their owners made a special trip to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Walkers and pooches came from all over East Lancashire took part in one of two, two- kilometre walks from Witton Park to Pleasington.
Organised by Town and Country Vets, which has practices in Blackburn and Clayton-le-Moors, the event attracted more than 50 participants and 40 dogs.
Veterinary nurse Samantha Lofthouse, who organised the event, said: “We treat a lot of guide dogs at the surgery and I thought it was about time that we gave something back.”
The event raised £966.
