A CYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a collision near Blackburn town centre this morning.
Police said the male suffered injuries to his head after it hit the pavement following a collision with a vehicle in Bottomgate, which leads into Accrington Road, at 8.45am.
Officers could not provide an age for the man, but said he was conscious as he was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital.
After several scans and treatment doctors discharged the man.
