A MISSING dog that prompted a dozens of people from across East Lancashire to carry out a search mission has been found.
Willow, an 11-month-old black labrador, was discovered on the Smallshaw Industrial Estate, off Accrington Road, Burnley, on Thursday night.
Willow’s owners Angela and Peter Butler, who live near the park in Scott Park Road, flew out to Majorca on Monday morning, leaving Willow in the care of relatives.
She was being walked in Scott Park by a relative of her owners when two dogs ran towards them, causing the 'shy and nervous’ rescue dog to break free and run out of the park on Monday afternoon.
Apart from some skin missing from her paws and a couple of scratches, Willow was said to be well.
