A MAN in his 70s was taken to hospital today after being involved in a car crash.
The emergency services were called to Whalley Road in Accrington shortly after 11.40am following reports of a car on its roof.
Paramedics found the man’s grey Renault Clio on its roof having collided with a parked blue Ford Fiesta.
He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries having freed himself before the fire service arrived.
Whalley Road was closed until 1.10pm.
