A MAN and a teenager have been taken to hospital after their car collided with five parked vehicles in Rishton this evening.
The man, in his late 20s, was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital along with the teenage girl following the incident in Hermitage Street shortly after 8.10pm.
They did not suffer any serious injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The white Peugeot 206 they were travelling in suffered major damage along with a number of other parked cars.
A police spokesman said: “No arrests have been made at this time and we are currently speaking to the owners of the cars and to the two people in the Peugeot.
“We are also speaking to eye-witnesses and to local residents.
“If anyone has any further information please contact Blackburn Police Station or call 101.
“The two people in the Peugeot did not suffer any serious injuries and were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital as a precaution.
“We are investigating whether it was driver error or a mechanical fault."
