Rishton sports club aims to give boys a head start
A HIGH school has launched a sports club aimed at improving boys’ achievement.
Boys in Year 9 at Norden High School and Sports College in Rishton have started the school’s ‘Success through Sport' programme which has been trialled at other schools. Nationally results show girls make better progress than boys during secondary school and the school aim to narrow this gap by motivating all pupils through sports
