NINE buses have been brought into circulation in the Valley by Rossendale Transport Ltd.

Brian Juffs, MD of the firm, said he has ordered the single-deck vehicles to update the fleet and improve the service for passengers.

Mr Juffs said: “Quality passengers require quality vehicles.

“All nine are painted in Glasurit two-pack paint system, and carry a five year gloss retention warranty backed by Glasurit, a brand of BASF, the world-leading chemical company.

“The Rosso-branded livery will eventually be used throughout the entire fleet.

"These are local buses, painted by local people.”
