CAMPAIGNERS have been told that resurfacing work on a problem road in Barnoldswick should take place in around six weeks’ time.
County highway engineers will repair Kirkstall Drive during April.
Coun Lindsay Gaskell said: “The road’s been in a bad way for several years and is falling apart between the patches.
“It’s particularly bad right next to the primary school and parents and pupils get soaked with water from the rain-filled potholes.
“I’m pleased pressure has finally paid off and the work will be done in a matter of weeks.”
Coun Gaskell and fellow Liberal Democrats are conducting a road and pavement survey.
