CHARITY Age UK is on the lookout for new volunteers to help at its shop in Market Street, Darwen.
The charity is seeking people to assist with sales, sorting donations, steam cleaning them, labelling, sizing and pricing them up.
There are a number of roles available on a variety of days, including Saturdays.
Volunteers would be placed in a small specialist team and given training on retail and how to operate an electronic till.
People who are available on Saturdays are especially needed as that is one of the shop’s busiest days.
A charity spokesman said: “It is a great team spirit and you would be making a real difference to older people’s lives in Darwen.
“So if you have a few hours to spare during the week between 9am and 5pm or on Saturdays and are familiar with the retail business or want to get some good quality retail experience on your CV, then get in touch.
“This isn’t just any charity shop, this is your shop where money raised helps your older people.”
