A GREAT Harwood business has provided ‘cover’ for its local hospice by sponsoring a brand new gazebo.

SB Tippers on Alan Ramsbottom Way offered up the cash to pay for the branded East Lancashire Hospice tent, which will be used at events including the monthly farmers’ market in Towngate.

Hospice fundraiser, Kimberley Hall, said: “Our new gazebo is certainly eye-catching and a great way to get us noticed at fairs and events we will attend with it.

“Our old one was unbranded and unsteady so to have a new sturdy one with our logo on is brilliant.

“It will also provide shelter from the elements for our volunteers who help to run tombolas and stalls during the year.”
