A CONSTRUCTION company has won a National Site Award for the Visions’ Learning Trust University Technical College in Burnley.
Barnfield Construction will be presented with the the Considerate Constructors Award at The Lowry, in Manchester, on the March 25.
The awards are presented to the top performing 7.5 per cent of sites inspected by the scheme’s monitors.
It will be announced at the ceremony whether Barnfield has won a bronze, silver or gold award.
The UTC has partner employers across East Lancashire, including Training 2000, which is based in Blackburn.
Mike Riley, contracts manager at Barnfield commented, said: “I am absolutely delighted that we have won this prestigious award.
“Everyone worked so hard to complete this extremely challenging project in extremely tight timescales and it’s great this has been recognised through such a well-respected scheme.”
