A RIBBLE Valley ‘out of school’ club has been rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.
Crazy Crackers, which started in 2003 at Salesbury CE Primary School, was told it required improvement after its last inspection, in 2008.
But after an inspection at the end of last month at the Lovely Hall Lane school, the Ofsted report said: “Staff are secure in their understanding of how children learn.
“They provide good levels of support.
“This results in children making good progress.
“They are well cared for and their emotional well-being and healthy lifestyle is effectively promoted.”
The report said it could not yet be rated as ‘outstanding’ because ‘some parents are not always familiar with who their child’s key person is’ and that there was room to ‘improve partnerships’.
Around 80 children attend the club.
