BUSINESS owners have been warned to be on their guard after a second high-value theft in as many weeks.
On Sunday December 10 thieves took parts and tools worth £28,000 from rally firm Auto Tech on Barnoldswick's Crow Nest Industrial Estate.
And now it has been revealed that overnight on Friday, an engineering business which backs onto Auto Tech was also raided. Thieves took tools and other property worth £1,000.
Sgt Andy Cartwright said: "Although there's no direct link it's obviously very similar. The area is part of the new Businesswatch scheme and we're working closely with the people who own the units in the area."
The break-in took place between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday. Anyone with information should call police on 0845 1253545 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555111.
