A DERELICT house was set on fire in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Gray Street, Burnley, at 1.35am on Wednesday.
They said they were alerted to the blaze after smoke seeped into a neighbouring house and set off a smoke alarm.
Firefighters forced their way into the property, and put out two seats of fire, said watch manager Tom Ashworth of Burnley Fire Station. He said police had been notified.
