A BURNLEY felt factory was evacuated after fire broke out.
About 20 firefighters from Burnley, Nelson and Colne were called to G Radcliffe and Sons, Shackleton Street, at 9.35am yesterday.
Sixteen workers were evacuated while firefighters tackled the blaze involving machinery.
Fire crews spent about two hours at the scene and the blaze destroyed five tonnes of felt.
Nobody was injured in the incident. Fire bosses have launched an investigation and they believe it could have been caused by an electrical fault.
