POLICE have renewed an appeal for information after the theft of a charity collection box from a recruitment agency reception desk.
The Cancer Research UK collection box from Temploy, Railway Road, Darwen, was stolen on December 5.
Manager Beverly Lynn has urged the thief to search their conscience and return the money.
She said: "A charity like Cancer Research is very well known so I don't understand how anyone could have done this.
"It was a small container with change in it. It is just shocking, especially because Darwen is a friendly place."
Beverly had used a square mint sauce jar wrapped with white paper bearing the wordsTemploy supports Cancer Research.' Anyone with information should contact Darwen police on 01254 353 830.
