An inquest has been opened into the death of Andrew Jackson Warner, of Nelson Street, Accrington.
He received fatal injuries when he was hit by a train half a mile from Church and Oswaldtwistle station on December 16. Born in London, the 41-year-old car sales manager was identified by his partner Dawn Hilton.
The inquest was adjourned provisionally until February 26.
