MUSIC fans can have a very merry local Christmas this year when half a dozen of the region's hottest new bands get together for a night of jamming rock and King George's Hall, Blackburn, on December 22.
The Local Bands Christmas Party will feature Middle Finger Salute, Whyte, Action Bomb Squad, The Reserved, 3 Men Gone Mad, and De Mortuis.
There's still more acts to be announced for the monster bash, so if your favourites aren't on the bill don't worry.
The bands will take it in turns to whip up the crowd into a frenzy with their own unique brand of rock as well as some timeless Christmas classics to get us all in a festive mood.
