HUNGRY regulars at a Wilpshire pub helped raise £200 for a Downs Syndrome charity after being inspired by a young boy.
The Wilpshire Hotel, Whalley New Road, held a special event selling charity chip butties, inspired by Charlie Hibbert, 16 months, of Clitheroe, who has the syndrome.
Charlie is a relative of the pub landlady, Sharon Nadin, who set about raising the cash to help others in Lancashire suffering from the condition.
And locals turned out in force to enjoy the afternoon.
