RAMSBOTTOM Festival has been named Small Tourism Event of the Year at the Manchester Tourism Awards 2013.
Coun Jane Lewis, cabinet member for leisure, tourism and culture at Bury Council, accepted the award on behalf of the festival team at the ceremony which took place at The Lowry Hotel on Wednesday.
The Manchester Tourism Awards recognise high levels of investment in quality and contributions to tourism.
David Agnew, director of Ramsbottom Festival, said: “It’s fantastic to have this recognition for our festival.”
