A BURNLEY-BORN author has release the fourth novel in his series of medieval mischief.
Lionheart, by Stewart Binns, hit the shelves yesterday through publishing giant Penguin.
The 62-year-old, who grew up in Colne and Foulridge, has sold more than 100,000 copies of his first three instalments, Conquest, Crusade and Anarchy.
The former Burnley Municipal College student, a former regular at Turf Moor, has won praise for his series from another famous Claret, Alastair Campbell.
Mr Binns, who now lives in Winsham, Somerset, is a broadcaster and teacher who won a BAFTA award while working at the BBC before launching international sport shows Trans World Sport and Futbol Mundial.
