Police are appealing for information to try to catch thives who made off with eight cans of lager from the Co-op in Padiham town centre on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.50pm when the three thieves entered the store through a roof window and tried to steal money from the cash machine. When their efforts failed they turned to the lager and left the building through the roof. Anyone with information should contact Burnley police station on 425001 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
