AN open day at the Prospects Environment Centre will be held on Wednesday, November 13.
Visitors will be able to make a recycled Christmas decoration, learn about energy saving, as well as Prospects overall.
Drinks and healthy snacks will be provided and there will be displays of the funded projects.
Organiser Barbara Sharples said: ”Prospects has received funding from Awards for All and the Windfall Fund for a part-time post at the Environment Centre. This means we can now put on a variety of events and activities.
“The ‘Drop-In Wednesday’ session, from 11am to 2pm at the centre in Accrington, is the first event and will be followed by others such as renewable energy, make & mend, wildlife gardening, crafts using recycled items, organic gardening and bee-keeping.”
