A DRIVER was taken to hospital with suspected back injuries after veering off the road and colliding with two parked cars.

The 22-year-old had to be freed from his black Renault Clio by firefighters after the crash.

He had been driving along Dill Hall Lane, Church, at 10.20pm on Friday when the accident happened.

His car collided with a Mitsubishi 4x4 and a Peugeot before hitting the stone gate post of a front garden.

Firefighters freed him from the vehicle, which was badly damaged in the crash. The man was treated at Royal Blackburn Hospital.
