A MAN who attacked his sister after finding out she was seeing an Italian could be facing jail.
Burnley magistrates heard how “upset” Shaheen Ullah, 25, had sent Shafina Khatun text messages telling her he was not happy about the relationship, but she ignored them.
He then went round to their parents’ house, where she was, slapped and kicked her, pulled her hair, hit her face, and punched and kicked her to the body.
He verbally abused her and then struck her on the back with a shoe.
Ullah, of Burns Street, Burnley, admitted assault by beating on October 23. He was bailed until November 20, for a pre- sentence report, on condition he does not contact his sister.
