WORKERS at 3M Health Care, Clitheroe, have been rewarded after passing a milestone of two years without a serious accident.
The Up Brooks firm makes products including aerosol valves and components for the pharmaceutical industry.
And workers at the site have successfully gone for two years without what the firm classes as a "lost-time accident."
To mark the achievement, everyone at the factory was presented with a special polo shirt and treated to a free Christmas lunch.
Site manager Dave Smith said: "We have been experiencing growth in demand and it's a testament to the dedication of everyone at the site that they have kept safety as the number one priority.
"The site has very active safety teams within each department and they have done a great job in maintaining awareness and looking for ways to improve our safety record."
