THE roll-out of new larger 240 litre green bins for households in Ribble Valley with a garden is under way.
Householders who have not already opted out of the scheme will receive a letter advising the delivery date of the new bin giving a final chance to refuse the replacement.
Those who accept will be given two weeks’ notice to make sure the existing 140 litres green bin is empty and left at the edge of your property by 7.30am on the date in the letter.
Homes with shared communal green bins or who use lilac sacks will not be affected by the change.
