AN ELDERLY woman was treated by paramedics in Burnley after she fell down a steep embankment while walking her dog with friends.
The 83-year-old fell 15ft down a grass verge, off Rosehill Road, at around 10.15am on Sunday.
A fire crew from Burnley Fire Station attended, and helped paramedics carry her into an ambulance for treatment.
Volunteers from Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team were also called to the incident, but were stood down on arrival.
