ALCOHOLICS Anonymous is holding two public meetings this month so people can find out more about its work.

Following the success of a similar event in Darwen last year, the fellowship will once again be opening its doors to all interested East Lancashire people.

The meetings will have two people sharing their life stories to give an idea as to how people have suffered and recovered from alcoholism.

People will be able get an insight into the workings of Alcoholics Anonymous and find out what it does and doesn’t do, what it is and what it isn’t.

The meetings will be on November 18 at 8pm at the Central United Reformed Church on Duckworth Street, Darwen, and on November 20 at 2pm at Great Harwood Trinity Church, King Street, Great Harwood.
