THREE young women had to be cut from their cars when two vehicles collided head on.
The accident, involving a Vauxhall Zafira and Seat Ibiza, happened outside Burnley General Hospital, in Casterton Avenue, on Wednesday, at 6.15pm.
Two fire crews from Burnley, and one from Nelson, attended, along with three ambulances.
The victims, all in their 20s and early 30s, were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital to be treated for head, neck, back, and chest injuries.
