Basharat Ditta
A BLACKBURN solicitor who gave criminals information relating to a police drugs investigation has been sentenced to three years imprisonment today.
Basharat Ditta, 44, who worked for law firm Forbes, in Blackburn, is guilty of having passed on critical information to drug dealers about secret investigations into them.
Ditta of Adelaide Street, Blackburn was found guilty of two counts of perverting the course of justice following a three week trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
