A CAPITA worker is facing disciplinary action after damaging a coach at the end of a Christmas party.
The member of staff was throwing beer bottles in a car park outside a hotel when he damaged a mini bus owned by Abbey Coaches of Darwen, a spokesman for Capita said.
The incident happened at festivities for the company's TV licence department, which is based at India Mill in Darwen, he added.
Staff were being picked up after their party at the Last Drop Hotel in Bolton when the damage was said to have been caused on Thursday night.
A spokesperson for the company, which also runs a large number of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's services, apologised for the incident said the worker in question would be disciplined when he returned to work on Monday.
Police were not involved.
