A STAR of The Apprentice has offered his support to Accrington charity, YNOT Hyndburn, in their search for new talent.
Alex Wotherspoon appeared in series four of the ruthlessly competitive BBC 1 show in which competitors fight it out for a job working for celebrity businessman, Alan Sugar.
Alex supports the charity which is looking to recruit a young apprentice aged between 16-24 to join them for an apprenticeship in Business Administration.
He said: “It’s great to be working within the local community with highly motivated young individuals with a passion to learn and a drive for success.
“I’m very much looking forward to getting involved.”
The successful candidate will undergo training will be provided through North Lancashire Training Group and a two-year, full time placement within the charity.
By the end of it, the apprentice will earn an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.
Chief Officer for YNOT Hyndburn, Sharon Burch said: “As a charity which supports young people, we are always looking for ways to try and create opportunities for them and this apprenticeship seemed the perfect option.”
