THE annual Whalley Pickwick Festival is set to return to the village this year on Thursday, December 5.
The village will be transported to the 19th century for the extravaganza which will feature sights and sounds of a Victorian Christmas set along the main street and surrounding streets.
There will be live acts and children’s entertainment including Punch and Judy.
With more than 35 stalls there will be something for people of all ages, offering the perfect chance to stock up on Christmas gifts and foodie goodies.
There will also be glow jugglers and a ‘Jolly Jester.
Local businesses and shops will also be opening late.
The Victorian-themed street fair will be held from 6pm to 9pm.
