A GHOST and bat search, a Hallowe’en party and mask making are just some of the spooky events being held at Clitheroe Castle this half-term.
The list of activities, which will take place until Sunday, also includes a fancy dress competition, story-telling and a chance to learn about spells.
Youngsters can make their own Hallowe’en mask today from 11am to 3.30pm.
Spooky storyteller The Mad Monk will be at the castle tomorrow, on Hallowe’en Day itself, to pass on scary stories to all ages with the Hallowe’en party being held from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Kids can join the ghost and bat hunt, bob for apples and decorate a mini trick or treat bag.
Witch Demdike will be holding a spell lesson on Saturday at 11am, noon, 1.30pm and 2.30pm where budding witches and wizards can mix their own spells.
For more information, call the castle directly 01200 424568.
