A TEENAGER wh owned up to violence offences has been warned he could be facing jail.
Casey Hedgecock, 19, admitted assault by beating and putting a person in fear of violence at Burnley Crown Court.
Hedgecock, of Hollingreave Road, Burnley, was bailed until November 29 for a pre-sentence report.
Judge Beverley Lunt told him: “All sentencing options will be considered.”
The defendant has a record for violence. In August, he was given a 12-month community order after admitting theft and assault.
A couple in their 80s had been knocked to the floor when Hedgecock struggled with a Tesco security guard.
The shoppers were left bruised and the guard was grazed. The defendant has served time in a young offenders' institution for theft and assault.
