A BANNED motorist has appeared in court charged with driving while disqualified for the 12th time.
Michael Creggon, 60, thought he had been ordered off the road for 12 months, but it was 18 months, Burnley magistrates heard.
The defendant, who has 76 previous convictions - 11 of them for banned driving - had not been in trouble for three and a half years, the court was told.
Creggon, of Elm Street, Burnley, admitted disqualified driving and no insurance. He was given a four month curfew, between 7pm and 7am.
