RIBBLE VALLEY residents will be encouraged to become social butterflies when a new-look what’s on guide is launched.

Ribble Valley Borough Council will unveil its improved events listings to the general public over the coming months.

And it has invited residents to help put their own events and activities in the spotlight so that others can enjoy what the region has to offer.

Clitheroe Visitor Information supervisor Dominque Dunand-Clarke said: “The ‘What's On’ will showcase the borough's vibrant and active social scene.

“It will also promote the wide variety of events being organised across the borough by the council, local businesses, voluntary organisations and community groups.

"Now all we need is for events’ organisers to use the site to list their events and activities for others to look at."

An events form will be available in the coming months at www.ribble valley.gov.uk
