EAST Lancashire residents are being asked to fill shoeboxes with Christmas gifts for disadvantaged children in 100 countries across the globe.
Samaritan’s Purse is seeking for donors to bring joy to a million children as part of this year’s ‘Operation Christmas Child’ appeal.
Over the past 23 years more than 100 million gift-filled shoeboxes to disadvantaged children in over 100 countries.
Teams of volunteers from Operation Christmas Child are setting up Drop Off Points and warehouses across Lancashire.
They will to collect and process the thousands of shoeboxes for countries like Belarus, Liberia, Romania, Swaziland and Ukraine.
