A CARE home in Burnley failed to meet two basic standards during a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
The regulator said there were shortcomings in residents’ care plans at Towneley House in Todmorden Road, and said improvements were needed in the management of medicines.
Staff told inspectors that the issues would be addressed.
The report also included some positive comments and the home met the three other standards examined.
The home did not respond to a request for comment, but two clients’ families have since contacted the Lancashire Telegraph to say they were pleased with the home.
