MEMBERS of Accrington Lions packed a punch with their latest fundraising event, a charity amateur boxing night that raised over £3,000.
The annual boxing event, held this year at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, raised money through ticket sales, raffles and an auction.
The cash raised will be used to fund several projects championed by the Lions.
Diners at the Pan International Boxing Bout were able to watch 11 matches while they ate their meal, with contenders from England and Scotland going head to head in the ring.
