VOLUNTEERS are being sought to improve beauty spots in Accrington.
The Lancashire Wildlife Trust and the Prospects Foundation are running sessions on the Woodnook Vale and the Coppice nature reserves.
Volunteers, including local school children, have already worked on the sites, but more help is needed.
The habitat improvement work includes coppicing, tree felling and clearing sites of scrub. The Trust has secured funding from the Windfall Fund.
Volunteering will take place on Mondays from 10.30am for four hours. The work has already started but continues on November 4 at the Coppice then the following Monday at Hollins Wood.
It will then continue to December 16.
