NORTH West MEP Arlene McCarthy will today take part in Breast Cancer Campaign’s ‘Wear it Pink Day’.
The charity has asked people to put on something pink and donate £2 to help hit the target of raising £2 million, in order to continue to funding groundbreaking research.
Arlene said: “Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and it’s important to increase our awareness of the disease and be more breast aware so that we beat breast cancer.”
In the last ten years the charity has raised more than £23 million. For more information see www.breastcancercampaign.org
