A MANHUNT was launched after a suspected stolen car ploughed through a garden wall.
The blue Honda also struck a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, at the junction of Saunders Road and Crompton Place, Blackburn, at around 11.20am on Tuesday.
Police said a man from Oldham was arrested nearby on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, and vehicle damage.
Officers were still hunting a second man last night.
After smashing through the wall, the Honda came to rest in a garden, leaving debris strewn across the pavement and road.
A black baseball cap was seen on the wet pavement amid shattered glass, plastic, and chunks of brickwork. Several police cars attended the scene.
The road was blocked while the cars were loaded onto a recovery truck.
The bonnet of the blue Honda was badly damaged in the crash.
And the Beetle also suffered damage to its front headlights.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
