BUSINESSES in Great Harwood are teaming up to raise money for Neave Evans.
Six people, representing businesses from across the town, will complete the Rotary Club of Accrington Swimathon next month.
The money they raise will go to the family of Neave Evans, a Great Harwood toddler diagnosed with four-limb cerebral palsy.
Staff from Gaskell Motor Bodies, Elite Dry Cleaners, The Chicken Shop, Ferj Photography and Expression Cakes, will all take part.
Nick Gaskell said: “If we can raise a couple of hundred quid, get wet, and have a laugh, the job’s a good one.
“Any money raised will go towards a room at Neave’s house. Her parents are a Great Harwood couple who need to make their daughter’s life a little bit easier.”
Neave’s dad, Jan, added: “Again, people’s kindness and generosity continues to amaze us.”
Donations can be made online, at www.goldengiving.com/fundraising/swimathon, or by visiting any of the businesses taking part.
